Philips consumer lifestyles use Pelling for designing a very wide range of local, below the line marketing campaigns. This particular project was rolled out over the course of an entire year. The aim was to raise awareness of the Philips brand as a whole within the retail channel, using graphic totems as the vehicle.
Promo offers are great for shifting end of the line products, or even shouting about new ones, but the bigger picture can often go un-noticed. If consumers invest in your products, they are also investing in your brand, but if they do not understand the brand or have a full picture of all the other products on offer than that is can be a missed opportunity to educate the consumer.
Philips invested in the project to put a stop to this, with Pelling creating a set of 12 monthly themes ranging from Valentine’s Day & the Royal Wedding right through to Christmas. Each theme was very well received by the marketing team at Philips and had a huge impact in-store with all retailers passing on positive feedback.
